"The best coffee in town! It's awesome!"
- John Evans
"It's my absolute favorite place to go!"
- Greg Smith
It’s easy to look around and feel like because of events in the world, or because of tragedies in our own lives, or struggles that we have, that God does not care about us. However, the good news of the Gospel tells us that the opposite is true: God loves us more than we could ever imagine. In case you haven’t heard:
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Why did God do this? Because of our sins, or the wrong things we do. Those sins separate us from God and leave us all in a bad position.
“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
The good news of the Gospel is the sending of God’s greatest gift, His Son Jesus. Jesus left the splendors and glories of heaven because our sins, the wrong things that we have done, separated us from God, not only in this life but for all eternity.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Jesus came and was born as one of us, was placed in a manger so many years ago. His mission was to pay the price for our sins on the cross, dying in our place so that we could have eternal life if we’d receive it. When you see a picture of the baby in the manger, don’t forget that He grew up, died on the cross, and rose from the grave three days later. His offer of eternal life still stands for all who will come to Him, ask Jesus to be the Lord or master of your life (Romans 10:9), believe that Jesus rose from the grave conquering sin and death (Romans 10:9), and turn away from your sins (Acts 3:19). Then you can be filled with the Holy Spirit and have eternal life. If you’re ready to give your life to Jesus, let me encourage you to pray a prayer like this:
“Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, I have done wrong, I ask you to be the Lord in my life, I turn from my sin, I give my life to you, I believe that you died on the cross for me and rose from the grave. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Amen.”
If you’ve made a decision to give your life to Christ, please send us a message and let us know so we can help you grow in your walk with the Lord.
